Tyron Creek State Park

Tyron Creek State Park is actually Oregon’s only state park that is within a major metropolitan area.  Located only minutes from downtown Portland, this park offers it all for a fantastic get-away from the busy city life.  Visitors come daily to hike the nature trails between Boones Ferry Road and Terwiliger Boulevard.  Bring your bike along to enjoy the paved trail on the park’s eastern edge.

You can enjoy a great picnic here as well, sitting in the Glenn L. Jackson shelter. Enjoy the tranquil setting on Trillium Trail, and admire the steelhead trout running through the streams.
