The Audubon Society of Portland
Located only five minutes from downtown Portland, the Audubon Society of Portland is dedicated to conservation. Nestled against beautiful Forest Park, this is a 150 acre nature sanctuary that is free to the public. There is an abundance of native flora and fauna with over four miles of forested hiking trails to enjoy year round. For a quick get-away or a lengthy afternoon visit, this is a fantastic location to relax, enjoy and watch Portland’s natural life unfold before your eyes.
The Wildlife Care Center is open 365 days a year and is the oldest and busiest wildlife rehabilitation center in Oregon. The Audubon Nature Store is a retail store that is open seven days a week.
