Rose City Golf Course
The Rose City Golf Course is open for all residents of Portland who want to come and enjoy a public course. This particular location has quite a rich history. It’s land was actually the first landing field for airplanes in the area. The area where the first nine holes are was once a race track, and there was once a head-on collision between two locomotives featured there by the American Legion.
Today, this course has challenging long par 4s and tree-lined fairways. It’s a great place to come and enjoy for an afternoon of relaxation, clean air and golfing fun.
